Sauck Media Group publishes Womeninc magazine. Womeninc was established in 2004 with the purpose of connecting women and to deliver uplifting messages that inspire, inform and encourage. We are looking for an energetic, self-directed team player with proven sales skills, a strong work ethic, excellent attention to customer service, a sense of urgency and positive attitude to join our sales staff as an account representative.  

Responsibilities  

• Contact potential customers about advertising in the magazine and develop a good report with them.
• Execute and achieve sales goals.
• Qualify, develop and grow new business through direct ad sales efforts, utilizing knowledge of the publication.
• Quote ad rates and conduct sales follow-up and close on sales.
• Handle incoming sales calls and emails from potential and existing customers in a team environment.
• Handling customer questions or disputes if they arise.
• Execute sales strategy for growth of the publication.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience; minimum of 5 years in the publishing industry if possible.
• Ability to establish and meet monthly sales goals.
• Verifiable experience selling to regional and national customers.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and a high level of initiative are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication are required as well as strong phone skills and the ability to be persuasive. Must also be willing to do cold calls.
• Must be familiar with MS Office products.
