If you are anything like me, confidence can sometimes come and go depending on how you absorb information from the world and relate that information to yourself. But I have learned a very important thing that has changed my inner feelings of myself and I can’t wait to share it with you!

Take a moment and ponder this:

Confidence comes not from always being right or perfect, but from not fearing being wrong or imperfect.

So we have a choice here: We can continue to try to achieve some sort of worldly state we feel is desirable to ourselves and others. Or we can accept our challenges and develop our natural-born strengths with a heavenly humility. I challenge you to try to come to love yourself not by realizing all your perfections and living them perfectly, but by accepting all your imperfections – perfectly. This is one of the first steps to start acquiring the life and self-esteem you may desire.

For me, it has come with an acceptance of my imperfections and that I have been given everything I need to go through life. If I don’t have it, I don’t need it to fulfill my purpose on earth. Humbly accepting my challenges has not only made my life richer but I pray it helps others around me comfortable to be themselves imperfectly as well.

You should still try to be your best. But you should not try to expect perfection – knowing, realizing and accepting your best is enough!

Live your beauty inside-out! Kim
