Mission
The mission of Womeninc Foundation is to foster education, personal growth and business development for women living in the Midwest.
Goal
The goal of the Foundation board of directors is to raise funds and to award grants to women.
Grants and Eligibility
Grants are awarded to women in these categories: education, personal growth and business development. The Foundation board will accept grant applications to begin awarding funds. Please email
foundation@WomenincMagazine.com if interested.
The only qualification for submitting grant applications for consideration is that you be female living in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin or South Dakota.
Donations
Womeninc Foundation is a 501 ( c ) (3) non-profit, charitable organization. It is through the gifts we receive from individuals and businesses that makes it possible for the Foundation to award grants.
Gifts of cash and property are welcome. Gifts can be given outright, or through wills and estate giving. Your gifts benefit women living in the Midwest and will make a difference in peoples lives.
Ideas for Giving
Individuals are already starting to plan fundraisers to raise money to donate to Womeninc Foundation. The possibilities for fundraisers are as many and as varied as the interests of women. The board of directors encourages women and men to rally in support of this new non-profit organization. If you are planning an event to raise money for Womeninc Foundation, please contact Kay Sauck or Katie Honnette at 507-235-8119 for help in promoting your event through

Board of Directors
Cindy Grams joined the Womeninc Foundation as a board member in April 2007 and in March of 2008 was appointed Vice President. “I believe strongly in the Mission of this foundation, making it an honor to serve on the board. I can’t wait to see what opportunities this foundation can give to women and watch how it changes lives! When I’m not doing what I love most….which is spending time with my family, I work for ProGrowth Bank as the Vice President of sales and marketing. I have been with ProGrowth since 1984. My daughter Katie and her husband Joel are proud parents of a beautiful little boy, making me a very proud “Nana”! My son Collin lives and works in Buffalo, MN and is busy experiencing life. Oh to be young! When my husband and I aren’t at our day jobs we keep busy on our farm…okay, he keeps busy….I prefer to sit on the porch playing with my grandson or reading a good book!”
Diane Smith of Graettinger, Iowa, represents Palo Alto county on the Womeninc Foundation board. "I am a wife of 28 years, a mother of 3 daughters and I have 1 grand daughter. I work for Prairie Lakes Area education Agency as an Emmet Co. home visitor serving families and children from prenatal through age 8. I have served on the Emmet Co. Prevent Child Abuse Advisory board for many years. I have taught preschool, worked as a para-educator in a school. I have been an assistant manager of a chain gas station and have also served as a Girl Scout leader. I have begun the Emmet Co. Kinship mentoring program in Emmet county. I have always loved being very involved with advocacy for children. I love to relax in warm palm tree destinations, watch musicals and romantic-comedies movies."
